ISO 17025 standard specifies the general requirements for the operation of the calibration laboratory of weighing instruments and mass standards. Its observance by our company ensures the technical and organizational adequacy of the calibration laboratory, as well as the correct calculation of the results of the calibrations carried out by the PANMETRO laboratory.
Our laboratory is accredited to carry out calibrations of mass standards as well as weighing instruments of a wide range of capacities: from small table scales to bridge scales. The certificates issued for objects within the scope of accreditation also have the ESYD logo.
The quality management system and its compliance are certified by the National Accreditation System S.A. S.A. (ESYD) with annual inspections and evaluations.

QUALITY ASSURANCE OF THE PRODUCTION PROCESS - MODULE D
After the incorporation of European Directive 2014/31/EU into Greek legislation with the Official Gazette 1230 27/04/2016, weighing instruments circulating on the Greek market and intended for commercial transactions are required to have type approval, while their manufacturers must demonstrate that they meet the required specifications for the production of weighing instruments, through an assessment by a notified body within the European Union.
To fulfill the above requirement, PANTELIDIS S.A. is assessed by the Dutch notified body NMI annually and has a Module D ↓ certification which allows it to place on the market weighing instruments suitable for legal use in commercial transactions.
